I've realized that as the Walker cousins reach new stages in life, there is a bigger need for more frequent communication. What I have decided to do, is try to offer a solution. I've come up with a way for us to have an online bulletin board. This will be a good way for you to either share family information, or to learn something about the concerns of the family. Previously, our family updates have been made by phone and email, but occasionally someone accidentally gets left out of the loop.

Don Walker update
I spent the afternoon in dad's room in ICU today. Was also there for awhile soon after he arrived at the hospital emergency room last night. In St. Joseph Hospital South Bend. They did another CT scan today to compare to the one done last night. After 6 hours we still had not heard from the doctor on the results of the second CT scan. But the nurse did say she heard the doctor going over it with the radiologist and that there appeared to be no change. So we didn't know if that meant more bleeding or what. It is deep inside the brain, to the left side. Some feeling returned to the right arm and leg today. He knows who we are and what happened and he can carry on some limited conversation. They may move him out of ICU and into the Stroke Unit by tomorrow, but that determination hadn't been made yet when I left around 6 PM. Craig drove down today and arrived around 5 PM. We will do our best to keep you informed. Thank you for prayers. As Craig mentioned please don't call to the house, and dad can't have too many visitors right now either.
