Dad is in St Joe Memorial Hospital, South Bend, after having an apparent stroke late last night. The last information I have is from around 1:30 am EDT when my Aunt Brenda told me he had some bleeding on the left side of the brain. He is unable to move the right side of his body, but his speech is still ok.

It's been suggested that we all make it easier on Iris by sending cards instead of making calls. Craig and Jack are going to keep us all posted through the blog as news becomes available. Thank you for making it easier by not requiring them to spend so much time and energy on the phone. They know we all love them dearly, and that's a very comforting blessing. Many of us have been in this type of situation and understand how tiring it can be, so thank you again for your understanding.
