Jean Marie Wells

SYRACUSE Jean Marie Wells, 48, of 708 North St., died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 14, 2008) in Elkhart General Hospital, after an illness.

She was born Oct. 26, 1959, in South Bend, to Charles and Shirley (Wisler) Weaver.

Miss Wells is survived by her parents of Nappanee; a brother, Rex (Andrea) Weaver of Nappanee; one sister, Tracy L. Pennington of Nappanee; her grandparents, Charles E. and Virginia Weaver of Nappanee; and her companion, Rick Sheldon of Youngstown, Ohio.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, 950 N. Main St., Nappanee, and one hour prior to Monday¹s 1 p.m. funeral service at First Church of God, Nappanee. The Rev. Sam Bennett will officiate. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.

Miss Wells was a 1978 graduate of Northwood High School and a lifetime area resident. She worked at HomeCrest Corp. and at Wal-Mart Super Center as a pharmacy technician. Miss Wells was a lifetime member of Nappanee Conservation Club, a member of Bourbon Bible Church and associated with First Church of God.

Memorials may be given to K 21 Foundation, Good Samaritan Fund, National Nature Conservancy or Bourbon Bible Church.
