Congratulation are in order

Hi all, Kim's drumline at Bishop Dwenger High School won 1st place in the drumline competition at Norwell High School in Ossian, IN. The competition was pretty stiff and their group won a by a few tenths of a point. I was happy to see one of her groups getting first. Thats a first for first and maybe that will unlease the thirst for first and many more will be done.

Congrats Kim!

What's with the yellow suits?

Marimba or Xylophone?

Congrats to Kim and the Dwenger Saints Drumline. I know how tough these competitions in the Fort Wayne are. One question, though. Why are they wearing a HazMat symbol on their chests?

to answer both of your questions about the new uniforms, I don't know and Kim doesn't like them either. Last years were much better. But the judges like the show and the uniforms are part of the show. The hazmat symbols stands for the name of the show called "Square". I don't know why its called that because its doesn't fit into the show at all. So there you go. Kim plays the marimba with 4 mallets. She is also teaching other kids how to play with 4 mallets as well as helping with the music instruction. so she is doing very well.
