Frog Legs

David A (my cousin) and I visited the Indiana History Train on Friday after school. It was very informative and if you get a chance to see it, go. We then decided to get something to eat. We went to the Great Wall Chinese Buffet. They had a delicious pan of frog legs on the buffet table. I haven't had frog legs in years. David tried them and thought they were pretty good too. He had never had them before. Pig heart just doesn't sound as good to me as frog legs, but I would enjoy a couple of pickled pig's feet once in a while.

I always liked frog legs and don't think I've ever seen them on a buffet. As for pickled pig's feet, that was the standing joke when I grew up. It went something along the line if you don't like what we are having for supper tonight, we will fix you pickled pig's feet. But I don't actually remember Dad ever fixing them. Some years ago I bought some to try them, but found them too strong of acetic acid.

pig's feet? frog legs? I'll take barbecued ribs and fresh corn on the cob.
