Parking Lesson: The rest of the story.

It was sad that day that my Dad [H. Ray] had damaged his car. We all knew that his time for stopping driving would arrive all to soon. Us kids had discussed it several times. But, it was left to me to actually get the job done.
I now think I know how my Dad felt the day I took his car keys away from him. You see my kids have not let me drive my car since the first of May.
It was John Lancaster Spalding who said: "Keep yourself alive by throwing day by day fresh currents of thought and emotion into the things you have come to do from habit." ....I remember the story of the old man who had an accident at the corner and he was explaining the circumstance to the policeman. He said: "Every time I get to this corner I turn and everybody should know that."
Now you know the rest of the story. John

Just to clearify this. The Doctor told us not to let him drive until after the surgery.
