On Monday this week my sister Marleen will be flying into Dayton, Ohio for an overnight stay. We will meet her at the Holiday Inn for lunch on Tuesday before she heads back to Chicago and then on to her home base in San Francisco. On this trip she has also been to Newark, NJ and Hartford, CT which were 2 states she had not previously been to. David has come down from Van Wert so there will be 4 for lunch on Tuesday.
On our way back from California, we drove through Denver about 4 hours after Marleen flew through. On that trip, she was hoping to go to Maui and I joked with her that she would probably end up in Denver with us. Well, that is how it turned out so she blamed me for causing a jinx on her Maui trip. She expects to be here for the campout as long as she can work out her schedule.
Remember when you are at the campout to be sure to walk up to somebody you don't recognize and say hello. You will be surprised by what you find out you have in common.

As a followup, we had a wonderful lunch with Marleen. It was neat to see her in her uniform and to me her coworkers. Due to weather, she never got to Hartford and will be in Chicago tonight.
