Hmmmm, does anyone think I could get away with that???

H. Ray's father was born in 1865 at the end of the Civil War. My oh my, how times have changed in the last 150 years.

I'm reminded of one of our ancestors who was born in a log cabin into a pioneer family and died after the invention of jet airplanes. One day it really hit me: the pioneers I studied about in school, those were my ancestors. That really makes that granite come alive.

Sure does Tom. All the more important that the blog needs stories. Maybe somebody will save these storys to a CD or other thing we don't even know what now, but will be common in the future.
