Hi Everyone,
I'm asking Uncle Johnny to post this for me. Thanks Uncle Johhny!!!
Just a quick up-date. I have been started on Thyroid med, (thank heaven!!) I feel better, but not completely good yet. I still have to stay on some double meds for about 3 months until the thyroid is normal. I've gained back the weight I lost and about another extra 5-10 lbs. (GAG) I'm miserable, but hopefully will start losing it now.
Frank's kidney stones are 70% the type that can usually be dissolved with meds. So he started on the meds Tuesday. There is still the possibility the stones can move before they are dissolved all the way, and that some will still require surgery, and he will retain the stint for at least 2 months. But he went back to work today, for the first in 2 weeks, so we'll see how it goes!
We're sorry we won't be able to come to Tom's on Labor Day. We don't want to be far away from Frank's Urologist at this time. We were really looking forward to it this year. Hopefully next year.
We are looking forward to boating this week-end. With our medical conditions and then all the rain, we have not had much chance to be on the lake for about 3 weeks. Summer is winding down, gotta make the most of it!!
My daughter, Jinny, just recently married her boyfriend of 4 years, Matt Otolski. His mom and dad are both teachers in the South Bend school system. As a matter of fact, his mom teaches at Nuner Elementary where my dad attended! (Except this is the new school built across the street from the old school). He has a 7-year old daughter, Emily. She thinks Frank & I are funny and likes to stay with us! Matt went down to the church (Albright) and collected some of the bricks during the demolition and took them home. Jinny is going to make something "special" in the yard as a remembrance. I thought this was a wonderful idea!

Thanks for keeping us posted. With no contact we can do nothing but wonder. Hope you enjoy the boating. Ours is parked in our dock because I am not safe to go there alone. Glad you enjoy the water and will have a chance to get on it. Your health will improve if you keep working at it.
