Mom is still in the surgery recovery area this morning waiting for a bed on the Neurology Critical Care floor. Dad, Raymond and Patrick were able to visit with her last night.
This morning Dad and I went back to recovery and were able to greet Mom. She seemed comfortable and even laughed a little when I told her that Liz had raided her chocolate stash when we went to their home last night. It seems to me that she is relieved to be awake and not have paralysis. She was very nervous before the surgery. Not certain any details of the surgery have been shared with her.
