I only have 10 more days left of school. It has been a good year for me. This is my fifth year teaching at Miami Middle School. I have to say that 6th grade Language Arts is my favorite to teach. (That is what I got to teach this year.) I am looking forward to starting my summer on the 4th of June. Here are my plans for the day: Sleep-in, eat lunch and then go to my spa appointment.
I won a gift certificate for two hours at the Woodhouse Day Spa earlier this spring. I have been saving it for the first day of my "summer." It includes a neck and shoulder massage, a facial and a pedicure. The only decision I will have to make is what color of nail polish do I want on my toenails. I can't wait!
I will then get to work on getting housework done inside and out during the rest of June. In July, I plan to go to the campout and leave from there to go to a conference in Chicago. We have a family vacation planned for Tennessee, the last two weeks of July. Then in August, it is back to thinking about school again.
