Northern Sweden

Hello from Sweden. We are near Trontheim, Norway and it took nearly 14 hours to drive here on the main road from near Oslo. We are at a ski resort and we have snow at the resort. The speed limit in Norway is 80 highway 50 city. That is in mph 50mph and 30 mph. We are driving a Skoda diesel which is getting about 50 miles per gallon. It is similar to a tin can, but then I used to live in one. This is the 3rd time for internet access in 2 weeks. It is beautiful here and not too expensive. Diesel is about 10 NOK per liter. It cost me more last summer to drive my Mountaineer in the states than it is costing here. Perhaps we can find reindeer for supper at the grocery. No chance to post pictures. During the next 2 weeks we get to see the Fjords of Norway. Oh, and some advice: NEVER try to drive a car in Amsterdam. Life is much easier in Norway and Sweden. Our first day was Norweagen Day and everyone was wearing their classy old outfits. Our condos are not deluxe and we cannot park next to them. But we are adapting fine. Having a great time. Wish you were here. See you all in July. Oh, and as of yesterday my cell phone won't get a signal but Robin's is fine. We called Alden from Oyer, Norway and then my phone quit getting a signal.

Tom, Glad to hear you are having a lot of fun with your travels. I have two more days of school left and then fun in the sun.
