GOOD NEWS!

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let all of you know that Frank came through surgery and is doing fine. There were some complications during and after surgery, but he is good now. They did a hernia repair at the same time. From the pathology report, they are pretty certain the cancer was all contained within the one organ and it is all removed. He will be off work until Dec 9th. His energy level is still very low, but that's to be expected after surgery. We are all very grateful!

Dwight, Elaine and Ellen,,,,I received very late notification from the church that you all donated to Albright Church in memorial of my Mom (Yvonne Walker). I tried to send you all thank you cards, but discovered I do not have your addresses. I tried to look up Elaine's on the internet, but it only gave the city and state. I hope you all know how much we appreciate your kind thoughts and gifts to the church and thank you very much.

Uncle Howard and Chris,,,our thoughts and prayers are with you every single day. I think about you a lot...and hope you are recovering.

We drove to New Buffalo (Michigan) to the lake the other day. Frank needed to get out awhile. We ate at the new Four Winds Casino (bad people!) The buffet is absolutely outstanding! It's worth the drive. Drove to the beach, but Frank stayed in the car while I walked it. Very high waves 4-6 ft, crashing over the breakers, very windy. I wore my warmest winter coat, but the sun was out and it was so pleasant to hear the water roar....I could have stayed all afternoon, even in the cold. Lots of Seagulls that didn't seem afraid of me,,,,I walked right with them,,,,it was funny! We took one of my life-long friends along,,,and he asked me if I saw Garfield's boat out there! HA, HA! I said "No,,,when it sank, it was probably in 70 ft of water!"
