Another Don Walker update

Dad seems to have gone back into somewhat of a state of dementia. We don't know the cause, it could be one or more of several things. His blood pressure is down and the visiting nurse suggested mom call the heart doctor. Dad seems to know who mom and I are, but most of the rest doesn't make much sense. It doesn't appear that the shingles are causing much pain, and they are using a cream which stops the itching. However we are wondering if some side effect has affected him mentally. His voice is clear and it seems he can hear better, but the conversation, well....that's all for now.
