BRIAN'S RECOVERY!!

 

Hello All,

I just talked to Uncle Ed. Brian is doing a bit better, has a good attitude and is bored already!  He broke the ball in his left hip, they replaced it yesterday with surgery.  He has 2 pelvic fractures, 5 broken ribs, broken collar bone and a concussion.  But everyone is optimistic for his full recovery.  They took out his IV's and off the oxygen today.  He had not eaten solid food since Friday, so he got to eat today. He's still in a lot of pain.  He is still in Goshen Hospital, room 221.  They are not sure of the day he will go to Re-Hab, could be by the week-end, but call first if you want to visit to be sure.  He'll be in Rehab at least 4 weeks.  Ed & Mary are holding up, at least in their voices.
