I've realized that as the Walker cousins reach new stages in life, there is a bigger need for more frequent communication. What I have decided to do, is try to offer a solution. I've come up with a way for us to have an online bulletin board. This will be a good way for you to either share family information, or to learn something about the concerns of the family. Previously, our family updates have been made by phone and email, but occasionally someone accidentally gets left out of the loop.

YIKES! What a mess. You had a real vision to know you could change that "mess" into something beautiful.
It was a mess. I should have taken a picture of all the keys taken out and laying on a table and of the stops all taken apart, but I didn't. You would would have thought how in the world can this go back together and work. If it worked once it should work again with a little TLC. It really wasn't damaged, just some of the parts wore out after 123 years all the stuff in was original Some body tried to sew the straps together with darning thread and that worked for a while. The first organ I restored I bought in pieces in boxes and bushel baskets and the big items seperate and I put it back together. That was back in about 1974. A while ago. Thanks for your interest.
