Tom & his Motorcycle

OK, for those doubting Thomas types, here are pics of Tom on his first Motorcycle. It was a Yamaha 180 Scrambler which I purchased used for $200 in graduate school. It was the closest I could park to the building where I worked. I couldn't afford the extremely high purchase price so I looked at a finance company and realized why one didn't want to ever borrow money. I took out $200 on my new Mastercard to buy it. In those days I made a stipend of $283 per month as a graduate assistant and my car payment was $83 per month. My school expenses (tuition & fees) were paid for by the department. I later sold this bike to purchase a 1971 Honda 350 street bike for $675. The Honda is the one I dropped on Robin and myself on the curve. My folks don't know about that part so don't tell them! Oh, by the way, I have a picture of myself on a motorcycle wearing a tuxedo. Now that is a rare event.
