A meeting place for the Walker cousins

I've realized that as the Walker cousins reach new stages in life, there is a bigger need for more frequent communication. What I have decided to do, is try to offer a solution. I've come up with a way for us to have an online bulletin board. This will be a good way for you to either share family information, or to learn something about the concerns of the family. Previously, our family updates have been made by phone and email, but occasionally someone accidentally gets left out of the loop.

Thanks for The Flowers

My mother, Lillian Oyer, passed away about two months ago as was noted on this blog (Thank's again Tom.). Her funeral was held on Monday, May 12, at Saint John's Lutheran Church in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. (She was baptized, married, and now laid to rest in the same church.) The above vase of flowers arrived in time for the service. The card was signed "The Walker Family." We were moved and deeply appreciated being remembered by you. From all of the Oyer family, "Thank you all very much."

Also, I really enjoyed visiting with everyone and getting to know you all better at my second reunion. I look forward to next year.
