I want you all to know that my girls truly enjoy time they spend with most people but family to them is very special. They share stories and remember small details of time spent with family with smiles on their faces and giggles between them. I'm sure they think that most families are like ours. It's sad that many aren't.
Since this 4th of July was my first real experience with most of you, it makes me realize now what all the hype was about. The girls aways talk in high regard about the Walker Reunion and all the fun they have. I honestly thought that Michelle, Dani and Alex were the "big deal" at Tom and Robin's, but I think now it's everyone there.
I just wanted to take a moment and send out a big thank you to all of you for being just who you are and showing my daughters what family is all about.

You are so right about family Leslie. Actually, it is sad that MOST families are not like ours. And there were 13 brothers and sisters! You have 2 delightful daughters and they are fun to talk to and interact with. These days there are so many children who are so obnoxious you don't even want to be around them. Why not bring them down to Kings Island sometime. You can all stay here if you like. Oh, wait, you do the "W" word. I guess Denny will have to bring them down.
You are very right Tom...Work does put a huge kink in my social life! YUCK! I guess it's a good thing I love my job and ND football!!
The girls and I are leaving this afternoon for Northern Michigan to see Staci and Ann (my cousin Brian's wife and daughter) at their lake house. We are looking forward to a fun weekend. See, once again we will be with family.
We will try to come down again and take in Kings Island. Scott said just last night that he was wanting to go on another road trip with me!

Wow, Leslie you made tears come to my eyes............I am so proud that the Makenzie and Morgan are learning what great families are all about....and I know in the future it will be something that they will pass on down to their own family some day.
