Don Walker update and Albright groundbreaking

Dad is hanging in there. He sleeps a lot and enjoys some visits. One of the nursing team checked him out and thought he had a possible lung infection or something in one of his lungs, so the family doctor put him on an antibiotic. His speech is good sometimes and not so good other times. Of course he is at least glad to be at home and not in a facility. Mom and dad are getting lots of help from her sister Brenda and her family. He has a team of sorts, made up of the lead nurse, some therapists, and a woman who comes by to give him a bath. He tries to spend as much time as possible in his lift chair that is next to the hospital bed.

Today was the groundbreaking for the start of construction of the new sanctuary and the rest of the new facility at Albright Church. I have some pictures and some video taken with my camera. I managed to hook the camera up to the TV so dad could watch it. I have most of the ceremony on video. He really wanted to be there but it just wasn't possible.
