PLEA

This is a plea (request) for many more of us to write something on the blog. Some of us could write something every week but we hold back for fear of causing someone else to feel uncomfortable in doing so. Our wider family of cousins is filled with so many varied interests and skills that we could share a great deal more than we are. Dale has provided this wondrful blog for us - free-let me encourage and invite some more of you to just put a note or two. Or something special that has happened in your life lately.

We all appreciate Tom's frequent updates as to where he is and what he is doing. You may not want to ontribute that frequently, but how about once in awhile? We have a wonderful medium to use to show love and information to one another. As one person, I would be delighted to hear from more members of our families, or spouses, or children, or whomever. It may be everyday stuff to you, but it would important news to the rest of us. Help us to catch up woth you a bit!

David Walker how about some info on those magnets or your involvement in writing? Or your hobby in pulp?

David Walker - Van Wert - how about some interesting classroom stories? Or your experiences in recreating the battles and war zones?

You know so much to share with "us'uns". There's no danger we will come to be as smart as you are?

Just share a little.

Mary Walker - how about an account of what it means to get two new knees at the same time? We can guess it hurts and takes lots of therapy. But what about the benefits and the longer term goodies from it?

To all the Rickerts.
Some of us have had such rare opportunities to really get to know you. We'd love to hear just something from you.

I would be interested in knowing what members of the family have created original products (or whatever) and which have or are offering those products for sale.

Denny has the twisted walking stick. Dale has a website. Steve Walker makes fishing flies.

Anyone else? I'd love to see picturs and hear the development story of the item.

We also have some academic persons in the family. How about sharing the main points of your thesis or research? We would never kenow as much you but we could learn a little bit.

Thank you Howard. I think you hit the nail on the head. In fact I worry about monopolizing the blog. But with your encouragement, perhaps I should post my thesis. Of course that is very old news by now. I will be working on 2 books this next week so perhaps I can post a picture or two.
