Nice Afternoon!

Hello Everyone,
I met Mary and George Henkler and June at Applebees in Osceola yesterday for lunch.  George paid for everyone's, including my husband Frank who wasn't even there!  How nice of him and Mary!  Thank you both very much!  June was here visiting and helping out Mary & George.  So we decided we'd get together.  It seems the cousins haven't really seen each other for years, like most of our adult lives?? Anyway, it was nice to see her and catch up a little bit. Frank has been under the weather for quite awhile now with his kidney stint.  So he was not able to come with us.  Hopefully mid October he'll have it removed and be back to normal.

Meanwhile, the boat is winterized, but we still have to clean it up and put away all the gear.  Not a fun chore, but makes it so nice in the spring to open it up all ready to go.  We have some large trees on our property, so we're already starting with leaf pick up.  Since we border some woodsy areas and our neighborhood is established, we get tons of leaves, so the next 2 months will be in the yard!

Tom's info on Montana is fun.  We went to Montana 2 years ago.  Flew into Butte, rented a car and drove up through many cities and Glacier Nat'l Park and flew out of Great Falls.  We did drive the Road to the Sun, it was beautiful!  Frank drove on the way up, and I drove on the way down.  It is pretty scary if you aren't used to mountain driving.  We also visited Yellowstone, again we flew in, only to Jackson Hole, rented a vehicle and ultimately went to Cody, Wy and went water rafting.  EVERYONE should do that sometime in their life!  We have a 35MM camera with several lenses, included a big zoom lens. (We don't do digital!)  We get some awesome shots.  I have them blown up, dry mounted and I frame them.  One of our all-time favorites is a picture of the Grand Tetons, with the water in front.  We captured the sparkle and blue of the water, snow capped peaks and it is breath-taking.  The size is about 72" X 40", so it's huge, and hangs over our bed!  What a great remembrance!  The other all-time favorite is a beautiful Montana stream and mountains.  I also had it blow up and dry mounted in a Dark walnut frame,,,it hangs in our living room as a constant reminder of what an awesome place Montana is!

If I could travel, I'd take you to lunch too! Your project sounds interesting. The photography stuff must have gotten into your veins.
