Tonight we had to take Bob to a hotel in Bozeman so he could fly home in the morning. He just couldn't stay any longer and realized the best way was to get home quickly and try very hard to regain his stellar reputation. I think he was shivering when we dropped him off.

As for our ordeal these last few days, even the buffalo are after us. Yesterday we were following 2 bison who were walking up the road with us in the car behind them. The one kept turning around and snorting at us. Robin assured us they were bulls. We had a long line of cars behind us. We went to see Yellowstone Canyon today and more geysers and mud pots. We also got Bob down to the Tetons as he couldn't believe our pictures either. We went to Old Faithful twice and missed it by 5 minutes the first time and 10 minutes the next time. We live a charmed life.

Now there are just 4 of us at this condo and we are missing Bob & Bobbie. However, it did not take us long to take squaters rights to their old bedroom. We are overlooking a small lake with a resident beaver and fish which are spawning. As for the beach stuff, we have decided that we are quite capable of telling sand from snow even though both are white. We think however that Bill may be confused as he is always out in only shirt sleeves.

We are here until Sunday. Bob having rushed home to warmer weather will be responsible for supplying documentation about our trip to the non believers. As for the significance of the south side of a north facing buffalo, we thought to present that problem to a ranger but it appears to be an intractable problem. However, we finally realized that was the problem we were having with the buffalo who were leading us up the road. I've never driven down a highway so slowly before.

It is Sunday morning and the sun has come out and it is beautiful! We have averted a weather disaster and should have a beautiful drive to Ogden, Utah this morning. We have enjoyed our week at Big Sky and saw a lot of countryside and wildlife.
Well, we negotiated our way down the mountain one last time this morning and tonight we are in Ogden Utah. We stopped off in West Yellowstone, MT to shop since things were going well. Robin flies to Iowa in the morning while the other 3 of us go to the geneology library in SLC. The weather here is beautiful.
