I've realized that as the Walker cousins reach new stages in life, there is a bigger need for more frequent communication. What I have decided to do, is try to offer a solution. I've come up with a way for us to have an online bulletin board. This will be a good way for you to either share family information, or to learn something about the concerns of the family. Previously, our family updates have been made by phone and email, but occasionally someone accidentally gets left out of the loop.
Hi Dwight! We think of you and I apreciate the times we spent together. Do you remember taking me to a chicken restaurant in downtown South Bend when I was sixteeen? That is the first time I remember eating in a restaurant. We went to a movie afterwards and that was the first time I had ever been in a theatre. I also remember your old Pontiac that we went riding in after church on Sunday and Wednesdays. Hope you are doing well. I am making it OK but have a setback right now with a knee and leg. I need knee replacements and I have lost my mobility at least for the present. We send our best wishes to you in this blog!
HELLO Dwight!!! It was so good to see you last month. I hope you are feeling better these days. We miss you at all of our gatherings. I'm not sure I ever was at a family gathering that you were not there. We need your comments on some of these posts. Your insight would be greatly appreciated!
I CAN'T EVER REMEMBER YOU NOT HAVING MORE THAN ONE WORD TO SAY.
I WONDER IF YOU ARE WHAT MARTHA RICKERT SAYS ABOUT HER GEORGE AND RAYMOND.
THIS IS A QUOTE FROM RAYMOND'S COMMENT TO YOUR DAUGHTER ELAINE'S POSTING ABOUT "OLD AGE EYES"
"Ray Rickert/s Donnabelle Walker said... Sorry, Elaine; I noticed my post was one of the smaller ones. It's my conservative nature.....I have to save space you know. The Rickert guys are conservative with words too. Martha, George's wife, says that we must think we have an allotted amount of words to use in life so we tend to not talk much to be sure we don't run out."
I AM SURE YOU WON'T RUN OUT OF WORDS SO LETS SEE SOME MORE.
