Dad and our family

Dad went with a cousin on Mom's side to Wrigley Field yesterday to watch the Cubs play. Craig and Carol took the train down from Milwaukee and went to the game with them. Carol made a sign for Dad to hold that said "I am 85 years old and this is my first time at Wrigley Field". However as far as we know the sign didn't make it on national TV. They were only 12 rows up directly behind home plate. The Cubs won and had a grand slam, so I'm sure that made Dad happy. I haven't talked to him since he got home. It is really great that he was able to make this trip. It isn't easy for him.
Just a little news on me. Sciatic nerve. Getting a cortisone shot in the back this coming Friday.
Here's a picture of some of us at the new Beutter Park in Mishawaka where the old Ball Band plant was. Looks like Dad didn't want to get his picture taken. Sun was bright hence the sunglasses. For those of you that don't recognize everyone, that is from left Paul, Mom, Dad, Me, and Diane, Paul's wife.
