COUSINS INFO

DALE THIS IS TO YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE THE FATHER OF THIS BLOG.
I HAVE ENJOYED THIS BLOG AND GETTING TO KNOW MY COUSINS "+". I HAVE ALSO NEEDED THEIR ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, E-MAIL ETC.
TOM HAS GOTTEN MOST OF MY REQUEST BECAUSE HE "WOULD" HAVE THEM. I SUGGEST THAT YOU MODIFY THE BLOG INFO SHEET TO INCLUDE THESE ITEMS, IT WOULD SAVE TOM A LOT OF QUESTIONS

Bob,
I have left the blog open for ALL to read, Walker or not. I'm afraid that some might not appreciate if we posted personal info like phone numbers or addresses on the internet. I'd rather not have my number posted. There is something we can do though. I can completely shut down the blog to outsiders so that no one can view it unless authorized by me,of course all Walkers would still be invited. This would mean that you would have to sign in just to look at messages and comments. What do you think? What do the cousins think?

How about if I make a master excel sheet for everyone. Such a thing does not yet exist. I agree with Dale, I don't want my personal info on the web. That is partly why my profile says almost nothing about me.

I agree with Dale and Tom I think it is fine, the way it is. I think there is too much info on the interent already. I would't think there would be a need for more. A good place to get addresses for your address book is from your Christmas cards you receive. You can get any bodys home telephone number from the white pages on the internet all you need is their zip code and some other information

Tom, I think a spread sheet would be a good idea for most of us that have excel. but what about the ones that don't? I'm not trying to be difficult but I'm not sure some of the cousins are up to another piece of software. Were you thinking about starting it up at the campout? We could then print hard copies. It's a little after 4 am and I'm starting to ramble. Good night.

Tom, I agree with the spread sheet idea. The sheet could be listed in cousin order and then their children in birth order, with grandchildren in birth order under the each child. We have needed a master listing for many years. I for example do not know the children of most of the cousins and is partly due to being geographically separated from the majority of the family. The July Walker reunion has really brought us together and now this blog has created an interest in what we are all doing. I read the blog at least once a day and sometimes 2 or 3 times. Keep up the good work.
