Winter Travel

As many of you know Robin and I travel with no consideration of what the weather might do.  And, we have been very lucky over the years.  But in time, events catch up with you.  We are now on the road with Carol and Bill and are currently stuck in Hyannis, MA waiting for a ferry to Nantucket.

Last week we were in Manhattan at a time share and were expecting only one rainy day of weather.  That turned into a snow storm and we slid out of Manhattan through the Midtown Tunnel to Long Island.  Our last morning was Friday, and Carol & Bill went over to see Good Morning America.  Did anyone see them there?  Carol was in the front row waving to all of you.

We had reservations on the 8pm ferry to Nantucket on Friday night.  We spent the night in a hotel and found out that the morning ferry is also cancelled.  We have this nice 2br condo with a fireplace paid for and waiting for us on the island, and here we sit at the hotel.  Robin went back to sleep, Carol and Bill went up to get coffee and here I am writing to y'all.  Can somebody please tell me why I left Florida last month?

Well Tom it is like this. There was a nice condo in Myrtle Beach that was longing for you to visit it At the time it made sense eventho we had to remove ice and snow from the car when we left we had a good time.
We should have stayed in Florida too. With in a week of being home I fell in the snow and slush in the front yard and hurt my pride and shoulder, but it is better now and so will your tip to Nantucket be better when you get there even if it is shortened.
Did not see Carol on the show. Have a good safe trip.
