Hi,
Just wanted to give all you an update on Ray since
I haven't written since Monday. It has been a hectic week.
Things were going good on Monday until he went to
bed. About 12:30 a.m. he woke up with a rapid heart beat so we knew we had
to make some calls. We first called the cardiac unit and they called his
doctor. The doctor wanted him to go to the ER. I took him in getting
there about 1. They were able to settle his heart down with meds via
IV's. From there they admitted him to Cardiac Unit again. He stayed
there until Thursday so they could monitor him while he was on the new
medication. He hasn't had anymore episodes. The doctor told us that
what happened was quite common following heart surgery. The only thing it usually happens before they leave the hospital. Ray was the
exception. Yesterday he was doing doing fine and said he
felt better than the day before. He did get a good night's sleep last
night and doing well this morning.
