I've realized that as the Walker cousins reach new stages in life, there is a bigger need for more frequent communication. What I have decided to do, is try to offer a solution. I've come up with a way for us to have an online bulletin board. This will be a good way for you to either share family information, or to learn something about the concerns of the family. Previously, our family updates have been made by phone and email, but occasionally someone accidentally gets left out of the loop.
We had several people stop in the shop yesterday and say that Middleville had dropped out of our local parade because their band director had a heart attack.
Their director is Ray Rickert. Just wondering if anyone had heard anything???
You can check him out on facebook. He is home and doing OK. Stop in if you can and tell him his cousins in Las Vegas were asking about him. We talked to Ray the father this afternoon.
Steve----Tom's comment is on target. However, the band didn't play because of the weather....a substitute director had them ready to go.
We had a scare for sure. Son Ray had one near 100% blockage which was remedied by a stent. Little if any damage...which will repair over time. Prognosis is excellent if the regimen is followed. Thanks for your concern.
