Today was the first day of school at my new school. I am now only 8 minutes away instead of 30 minutes. I am at Shawnee Middle School teaching 7th and 8th grade Language Arts. So far, I really like the staff and the students don't seem too bad. Time will tell when it comes to the students.
My feet are very tired tonight and my throat is a little sore, but I will manage. Getting in the habit of out of bed by 5:45 vs 5:15 before seems like a breeze.
