Tom's Travel Problem

Well, Robin & I are off to Florida again, this time to take the Norwegian Pearl through the Panama Canal to Los Angeles. We will be on the ship with Elaine and when we arrive in LA we will rent a car and head for another of our famous condos. We will link up with June & Pete for part of a week at Big Bear Lake.

This summer we will be home mostly. Then Robin told me her brother was going to sell the 1976 BMW motorcycle that had belonged to her father. In a flash I had a brilliant idea! I told Robin that we would buy the bike and take it to Sturgis, SD this summer!! I thought it was an excellent creative idea. I told Robin that she could be my Biker Babe!! However, she said something about it being a cold day somewhere and hung up on me. So then I asked Kay and she also declined to be my Biker Babe. I can't repeat what she said. Next, I asked Debbie, figuring that she would certainly be adventuresome enough to be my Biker Babe, but she reminded me that she is married. But, she suggested that since Coleen was not married, perhaps she could be my Biker Babe. But since my ears are still burning, I haven't gotten up the gumption to ask her yet.

At some point, perhaps John will share the proposed trip we will take out to see Las Vegas. I think he is already saving up his silver dollars! Between Sept. 5 and Nov. 12, I will be home only about 2 weeks this fall. Robin & I are headed out to NM to visit friends and to pick up on the trip that Robin missed last year. That is if she is talking to me by then.

Sorry Tom, I am not the Biker Babe type. Although from the free online dating website that I check out, maybe I should be. About half of the guys that I think I would like to date are Bikers. I think it has to do with a mid-life crisis, but hey who am I. Oh well, maybe Mr. Right will be out there for me eventually. Thanks for thinking of me.
