Iris Walker surgery

Mom came through her shoulder surgery yesterday, about as well as can be expected. Her sister brought her home the same day. Four incisions were made and exploratory surgery discovered a buildup of scar tissue. All of that was removed, and no other problems were found. She is obviously suffering pain and effects of anesthesia, but seems to be dealing with it well. It was the fear of the unknown that was such an issue before yesterday. Now it is time to restart the therapy to gain full range of motion and the eventual end to the pain. I'm sure she would appreciate any cards, letters, visits, or phone calls. This has been a long ordeal as you may remember the shoulder replacement was originally done last July 7.

Thanks Jack for the latest information on your mother. I'll get a card in the mail.
