Guess what I'VE been doing?!!!
Everything is peachy-keen!
Summer done, summer still being processed..........in our TUMMY'S!!!
I've realized that as the Walker cousins reach new stages in life, there is a bigger need for more frequent communication. What I have decided to do, is try to offer a solution. I've come up with a way for us to have an online bulletin board. This will be a good way for you to either share family information, or to learn something about the concerns of the family. Previously, our family updates have been made by phone and email, but occasionally someone accidentally gets left out of the loop.

Hey Girl friend, As I was eating one of my peache, I was wondering if you had actually canned those peches..............and I guess you did.............They do look pretty.............good job....Doris
We'll be there for some this winter. :-)
Gosh Ray, I think I'm busy that day!
Actually, it would be an honor to have you here. You two come see us and we'll break out a bottle! (ooh, that sounds kinda questionable, eh?) If I had only known that I could get company so easily.......
had no clue that I had misspelled peaches.....not only 1 time but 2 times..........okay I can spell...peaches....peaches..peaches
Doris: I think you are just a Pech of a lady!!
And Deb, this is from Letters Grandma wrote to H. Ray in France.
"I have been sewing and canning tomatoes. I now have 43 qts. and can pick a half bushel or so this evening." . . . . "I canned tomatoes again today. I now have nearly a hundred quarts and there are several more. I made four bottles of catsup yesterday" . . . . . "I have two bushel of grapes to do up tomorrow. I will make some tomato butter too. I made catsup already." . . . ."
You have some catching up to do. And oh, by the way, did I tell you she did all of that while pregnant? And taking care of 9 kids, cooking cleaning etc. And writing to H. Ray once a week.
Oh how quickly you forget,Tom! I ran my marathon already. I did my time with 8 or 9 kids and literally 100's and 100's of quarts of everything we grew AND bought. Freezing was in there, too. Who did you think you were talking to? (actually I enjoy hearing the connections to then and now, multiple generations. I don't think our kids will be reading our old emails though....pity....)
