Forest Lawn Glendale

This is a picture taken at Forest Lawn in Glendale, California. On the left is my mother standing next to her mother. My grandmother is showing us where she will be buried someday in the plot she purchased in the 1940s for herself. This picture was taken in 1974. Many years later when she became very ill, she told my mother that she had changed her mind and wanted to be buried in Indiana near her family. My mother made the arrangements and my Grandmother was buried in Argos, Indiana next to her sister. Don & Iris were with us that day in Argos.
A little history about Forest Lawn Glendale. There are many movie stars and other famous people buried there including Walt Disney and his parents, George Burns & Gracie Allen and Humphry Bogart. Here is a link to an entry in Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forest_Lawn_Glendale
The cemetery plot became part of my Grandmother's estate and my mother didn't know what to do with it. I told her I would love to have it since it was something from my Grandmother. So, my mother deeded it over to me.
Well, has anyone heard who is to be buried at Forest Lawn Glendale next week? None other than Michael Jackson. Now what will I do with my plot?? I've suggested to Robin that we could retire to my home town of Los Angeles, but she says if I do that, I'm going to need that plot.

This is what I got from CNN:

Michael Jackson will be buried Saturday, August 29, on what would have been the singer's 51st birthday, according to a statement from publicist Ken Sunshine.

The private ceremony will take place at Holly Terrace in The Great Mausoleum at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California, and "will be limited to family and close friends," the statement said.
