Hey all you mushroom lovers,,,,tis the season! I actually found about 6 or 7 in my flower garden,,,because of the mulch, no doubt.
They are really nice this year. Frankie got the bug and went hunting (in an unspecified location, of course) and found an entire
grocery bag full! YUM! Dinner at my house tonight!
The boat is calling,,,and calling,,,and calling. We tried to go out last week-end, but it didn't work out. It's really hot here today, so
I'm hoping we'll be on Lake Wawasee either tomorrow, my day off, or this week-end!
Edgar's son Greg and wife Carolyn are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this summer. They have hired Jinny (my daughter)
to cater their event! How cool!
If you know me,,you know how much I love all animals, birds, sea creatures or any varmint. (That's why I married Frankie, HAHAHA)
Anyway, talk about togetherness,,,I had to have a root canal done on a abscessed tooth, and on the same day my little Welch Corgi had to be
anesthetized and have two of his abscessed teeth pulled at the same time I was having mine done! Geeze,,,$$$$$$$$$$
Denny Drake,,,,what can we say,,,,he is EVERYWHERE! I saw him at the Maple Syrup Festival in Wakarusa with a whole trailer full
of his equipment and walking sticks. Really, really neat, Denny! They are beautiful!! And a celebrity too! Congratulations Denny,,,,

My daughter Jinny entered a contest and won 2 tickets and a parking pass for the Indy 500! WOW,,,is she excited! This is her first
experience going to the 500,,,she's in for a treat!!!
Lots of little bird nests around the house,,,,full of eggs. I have a Turtle Dove right outside my kitchen window, it is so cute. A Robin and
Cardinal on the side, Another Turtle Dove in front, and Wrens in the Apple Tree,,,they are adorable. Heard a Baltimore Oriel this morning!

Sounds like you and Frank are not going to have time to get sick anymore. And sure hope you don't. Enjoy the outings.

Since you like mushrooms, you might like this site: http://www.fungimag.com/ The publisher, Britt, is a very good friend of mine, and we go camping together in a place in Northern Wisconsin where we find about 25 pounds of chanterelle mushrooms in one day. He is also a good cook, so I made him a very large cutting board . . . with scraps of wood I got from who else, but Denny Drake.
