Joanne Update

Just wanted to give you an update. I have recuperated from the 2nd surgery and I'm almost back to normal. Today I saw Dr. Ansari (my Oncologist). I will need to have chemo which will start on Monday, May 18th in South Bend. I will be having 4 treatments which will be 3 weeks apart. My last one being July 20th. I will then be having radiation which will be done in La Porte. I'm doing ok. Today I talked to a couple of friends who have had chemo and they gave me some advice and some encouraging words which really helped. Your prayers would be appreciated for both Ray and I. I will continue to keep you posted.

You've been on our minds, Joanne, so it's good to hear how you're doing.

We are all pulling for you Joanne, even here in Sweden. Talk to David A as he did those things too. And look at him for a success story. Think positive!!

As you know my friend, your angels are already surrounding you to bring you through this. Breast Cancer has come a long way, especially when detected early. I see miracles everyday......be strong and keep the faith.....Love you....Doris

Joanne, Talked to Sandy Rader yesterday and she had just heard about your surgery, at least she knew of your first surgery. Anyway she has changed E-mail addresses and now she is at
sandyrader@gmail.com.

Thought you might like to contact her and let her know, from you, exactly what's going on. Being the great friend she is, she is very concerned about you.

Joanne,

My first advice to you is "stay away from Negative People" because they will mess up your mind. Just because someone else does not mean it will happen to you. Keep your doctors posted and listen to your body. When it says rest, rest.
