Spring Break in Virginia

I'm on Spring Break this week and the rest of them are on retirement, (Mom, Dad and Tom). We are having fun in Virginia. So far, we have explored part of The Blue Ridge Parkway and Shenandoah National Park via Skyline Drive. We saw lots of deer, but no bear. Tom stopped the car several times for us to take pictures and appreciate the beautiful view. At one such spot, the Appalachian Trail crossed The Blue Ridge and I was able to walk about 25 feet onto the trail. The picture is of the four of us with Iron Mike on Skyline Drive at Big Meadows Visitor's Center. It has been a fun and relaxing trip. It rained on and off today, but the two days that we spent on the Blue Ridge and Skyline Dr were clear and we could see for miles. This is beautiful country. Tomorrow we are planning to go Walton's Mountain.

Well, what I can't figure out is if there are only 4 of us, how come John and I are always outvoted 3 to 2????

Craig, We have had a couple of days of rain, but it really hasn't hindered us. However, Mom, Dad and I did get caught in a sudden hail storm when we were visiting the Frontier Culture Museum. It lasted about 2 minutes and just long enough to get us wet.

Tom, I am not sure what you are referring to. Mostof the time, Mom and I are innocently sitting in the back seat looking out our side windows.

Tom,
The reason you get outvoted on this trip is the same reason you get outvoted at home 2 to 1. It's fuzzy math.

How long have you been married?

So did you only spend 2 minutes at the Frontier Museum? With those heavy coats on, it did not look warm. Have fun at Paul and Diane's house.

This must be different Dale. I get outvoted at home 3 to 1. Remember I live with 3 women at home. Somehow, Princess gets to vote too. Maybe the fuzzy math is a Virginia thing.

Steve & David: I want you guys to know that I had to work very hard to keep up with the two of you in keeping your sister in line! You guys are a tough act to follow, but I think I held my own!
