I've realized that as the Walker cousins reach new stages in life, there is a bigger need for more frequent communication. What I have decided to do, is try to offer a solution. I've come up with a way for us to have an online bulletin board. This will be a good way for you to either share family information, or to learn something about the concerns of the family. Previously, our family updates have been made by phone and email, but occasionally someone accidentally gets left out of the loop.

Pictures
This message and request is for anyone who took pictures this past weekend at Don's "celebration of life" Dave, I am targeting you especially. I know you and your super-duper camera has to have some great family shots. If you would (and I will bake you anything and bring it to the campout at Tom's) make me a copy of the pictures and put them on a CD, I would really, really, really, really appreciate it. (I learn to beg from Deb) I would love to make a scrapbook of this special Easter weekend. And Craig I would also love a copy of the picture slides shown at the funeral as well. And yes I will bake for you as well .............Thanks Doris

Is it possible to create a directory with easy edit access for all of us? We could upload all pictures to a common location and then everybody could have them.
Craig
I pick Baked Alaska! No, wait a minute, I didn't take any pictures. Bummer. Maybe that will teach me to always bring my camera. Perhaps someone can e-mail me pics from their film camera so I can scan them for Doris and get in on this great deal.
Thank you Doris for making the weekend so special for all of us. Your hospitality was very generous and appreciated. I'm not sure anyone got any pictures at the house.
My hearfelt thanks to the Don Walker family for the opportunity to share the events of the Easter weekend with them. The services were very fitting and beautiful. Don was a gem and I know that many of us think of him as a father figure. Many times I have said to Don, "I have a problem and I need help" and he would help me see through it. Even into the wee hours.
Uncle Don was a very wise man. Most people never get to meet a man like Don and we had the privelege to be related to him. We all thank the Lord for the life of Don Walker.
I think I can manage a few CD's...hmmmm...what kind of food would I like to eat about now? Oh....yes, I am on lunch break.
Uncle Don was very special and he was a father figure to his older siblings regardless of their age.
He influenced all of us and I am still not the navigator that he was. I am still working on it.
Doris, I will get you a CD soon.
Dave
I knew that food offer would do it.........Thanks guys..............luv u all

I really only have the one that I posted... is that still good enough to get me an ice cream cake??? I mean can put it on a cd for you but ummm... well that would be a lot of wasted space...
OK, Dani, we can team up on this one. I've added your picture to my photo album.
Since you wanted an ice cream cake and since Baked Alaska is an ice cream cake, perhaps this will cause our combined efforts to be good enough. At least your 1 picture was your own whereas mine were pirated.
