So....what is everybody up to these days?

I think spring is actually here! Oh... I KNOW there are going to be a few more cold snaps, and perhaps even a spit of snow just to tease us. However, there was a robin singing in my tree today while I weeded around the daylillys that have peeked their little heads up out of the ground a whopping 4" already. The tulips are timidly making their debut, and the grass is just a bit greener than I was expecting it to be. I think the itch in my thumb is becuase IT's yearning to be green again too. I'm excited to go flower shopping, dig in the dirt, and smell the goodness of fresh air. I can't WAIT to fling the windows open, rake up the remaining evidence of last years season, and hang the porch swings. Then I'll get my bike out! Last couple of years, Dale and I have ridden 30 miles in a day and still been able to walk the next morning. (the second half of that sentence is as surprising as the first half, eh?)
We're half way through March.....did I blink? Time is rolling by so quickly! Get out there and enjoy yourselves!! There are no promises of a tomorrow.
Love,
Debi

YES! There is a breeze in the air and the beach was beautiful!! The waves were light, the sun was bright and it was 80 out! The sky was blue, and I walked along the shore to the end with my feet in the sand and surf! And last week we were watching the dolphins play. A wonderful way to spend winter. Perhaps tonight I will get lucky and get to see the space shuttle take off. Oh, and I just leave the 2 balcony doors open all night. Somebody else did the flowers, and oops, I don't have a porch swing on my balcony. Oh, well, such is life.

Us old folks just run back and forth to the doctor. Gives us something to do.

I love Spring and Summer. It is so nice to see the grass turn from brown to green and watch the flowers making every attempt to spring out of the ground. The grass starts to grow and the sound of the lawn mower can be heard in the neighborhood. Then it is time to head to Tom's house to pick up the sticks before the mowing begins. What a life. I love it.
