Hello From the farm!
Steve & I now live in a 27' RV on a friend's 140 acre farm. Our beagle, Obi, loves it. The other day he went for a "walk" and Obi ran 2 rabbits and a bird. The bird really shook Obi up. The Iris's are up 6". The Hostas are up showing their heads, The field and the yard is turning green. Spring and fall are my best seasons. I love the colors. I love to dig in the dirt along with Deb. All my flowers got left behind with the house. I'll enjoy the ones here instead. God is good. We have a roof over our heads. A n older man who is a dear friend of Steve's has his son bringing us 100 lbs tanks of propane for no cost. All we have to pay here is the increase in the electric bill. We are on a new life plan that God has started for us. WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHERE IT TAKES US!!!! Times may be hard, jobs are few in between...but GOd has not moved. Faith is not belief without proof but trust with reservations. Hopefully, we will see you at Tom's this July after my knee surgery. I'm looking forward to it!

Hmmm.....
Judy, I don't remember you digging in the dirt along with me?!!
But do ya want to? Between Mary's house and ours, there's a LOT of digging oppurtunity!

You have to stop those after dinner drinks. They will mess with your memory every time! Landscape planning, picking out the "perfect" plant for just the right spot, getting the soil ready is a passion of mine. If there wasn't a fuel problem up here (or the cost of it) I'd be there in a New York minute! But then that would take away from your own fun of digging on your knees...in the wet grass...getting stains on your jeans and sweating a lot...with Doris setting in the shade drinking lemonade and pointing out the weeds you missed.

You know her pretty well, eh?
(Doris, I didn't tell her to say that.) Don't forget the part about her whip!

When I was born, our family lived in a much smaller unit than that and we had no farm around us. We largely lived outdoors, however, we did have warm California weather. I love your positive attitude! Spring and fall are our prime travel times, however, winter in Florida is very pleasant. For summer, I prefer the Rocky Mountains.
