I've realized that as the Walker cousins reach new stages in life, there is a bigger need for more frequent communication. What I have decided to do, is try to offer a solution. I've come up with a way for us to have an online bulletin board. This will be a good way for you to either share family information, or to learn something about the concerns of the family. Previously, our family updates have been made by phone and email, but occasionally someone accidentally gets left out of the loop.
I would guess if you made it up Pikes Peak you went up on the cog railway. I drove a rented Dodge Neon up Pike's Peak. You don't need a jeep. Unless, of course, it was before the road was improved which is quite likely. I know you've seen many of the 14ers in Colorado.
Wait a minute, I think I've heard you sing. I pick 1.
Tom, I know you have had some mountain top experiences too. You hit the nail on the top of the head. I did not drive a jeep up Pike's Peak, I drove it up Mount Elbert it is taller than Pike's Peak. Mount Elbert is at Leadville about 90 miles South West of Denver. I not only drove a jeep up and down the dirt road many times, but I also drove an ambulance up and down that mountain a few times. You are right I took the cog railway up Pike's Peak two times.
