This is Linda, Tom & Carol in San Diego near the light house overlooking the San Diego harbour and the Navy base. We were there earlier this month and we all had a blast while Elaine was off on her cruise. We did get snowed on and had to turn back on our way to Julian which is about 60 miles from San Diego. I don't think the temperature got above 62, but that was a lot better than the zero we had at home when we left.
Now Robin and I are on the right coast near Disney in Orlando. Last Sunday we hosted a reception for Florida cousins at our condo. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera on, so somebody else will have to post a picture. There were a total of about 15 of us here. We prepared 2 key lime pies from the key limes off of Elaine's tree in San Diego. From our condo, we can sit in our Florida room and watch the fireworks from Epcot at Disney.
Yesterday we drove down to see Shirley & Charlie Weaver. Shirley fixed us lunch (yea, I invited myself) and prepared a delicious lemon meringue pie. Unlike my meringue, hers did not retract from the edges.
On a more problematic note, Robin is scheduled to have her left knee replaced on April 8. Hopefully, she can recover before we go to Sweden in May.
