We arrived in Tennessee this evening. It was a long day starting out in snow and ice from Fort Wayne to Marion and better South of Marion, but still not too good. No snow South of Indianapolis. Rain and traffic tie ups the rest of the way to Tennessee. Tom is with us He was our driver from Indianapolis South. David and Coleen took us to Indianapolis
We visited with Howard at the hospice center. He knew who we were and a smile from ear to ear and his face lit up brightly when he saw us. He only talked a few words and went back to sleep. His color is good and he seemed alert while awake. He is on oxygen and was given pain medication yesterday. None today. The hospice unit he is in is on the second floor of an old hospital that has been remolded and is quite nice. We will visit tomorrow afternoon again and will keep in touch.
