An Update on Me

Well... about a month ago I turned 21... ugh a true adult in all the legal-ness of it all...  On my birthday I was in the beautiful city of Nashville Tenn. And thank you to all of the family I was with down there!  I was there for the Division on Ministries with Young People.  This is part of the General Board of Discipleship.  I will serve on this Division for the next four years.  For those of you who do not know I feel God is has called me into his ministry and this is what I am currently being called to work with.  This Division will allow me to do all the things I love... work with youth... work with Young People... do service projects... TRAVEL (San Francisco  in February)!!!!!!!!!  learn more about what being United Methodist Means... you know very important things for a future ordained minister.  

However with me there is always a crazy story... I think its my parents fault... no adventure to small... 

You see while I was in Nashville an artist decided to steal my brand new Macbook.  Worth just over $2,000... but I am quicker on the ball than the average criminal so a friend and I chased him down and got the computer back... crazy I know but I totally felt like Super Women! Later we were told that was dumb and he could have had a gun but I was thinking to myself I just spent my loan refund check on a new computer for school and at that time expensive computer on the run was way closer to my mind than this crazy drunk guy may have a gun... next time something like this is getting stolen from me I will try to think like that :) however the more likely to get something back when it is stolen from you is if you run after it and get it right back... Okay well long story short I pressed charges it came out that stealing my computer was a class D felony and I get to go to court on November 17th!  Crazy I know but I just want to let the world know that stealing things from me will not be tolerated.  

All in all I had a great birthday... and I sure do enjoy my new computer... the old one is not going to waste as soon as I am done with my computer class my mother gets the Old PC... its slow but has office 2007 on it so it will work great for her... I am still loving living with my self I still have One cat named Mollie and a bunny named Thecla (Look it up great and wonderful story all about man eating seals and whatnot...)...  Thats about all I have for now... :)
