These are pictures taken on our Alaska trip in 1990 with Don & Iris. We drove 10,000 miles in 4 weeks in our conversion van. We drove to Prince Rupert, BC and took the ferry to Skagway, AK and then drove up to Whitehorse, YT to catch the Alaska Highway. The bottom picture was taken on the ferry. The top picture was taken in Fairbanks, Alaska at the spot that some call the end of the Alaska Highway. The middle picture was taken about 60 miles from Denali Peak which is the snow covered mountain in the background. Seeing Denali like this on a clear day is a very rare event. We arrived home via the Alaska Highway and through Edmonton, Alberta where we toured the large mall. What a trip!!
