There isn't much going on in Nebraska right now... School however is really fun and I am enjoying it. I have learned alot in just the first 8 weeks and am able to fix/replace about anything suspension wise on about any vehicle. We start electrical systems in a couple weeks. I also bought another project car and have replaced the whole interior including carpet and headliner from tan to gray. Even the dash is gray now. So on my days off work, I work on that. Grandma isn't to happy about me having three cars in the driveway, but I will have the project towed to school so I can get it running and the Auto Body students can work on it for credit as well.
Work is also good/bad. Good in a way that right before school started I got moved up to making deserts and salads, but its hard with me being the only one in that position right now as I work every night including some sundays. They schedule me at 4:00 which is when school gets out so I dont have a break between the two but I only have school Mon-Thurs. The bad part is even with twice as much work, they have yet to give me a raise even though they said they would.
I will be flying home over new years and might be able to meet up with a few people during that time. It would be great to see some family again. Take care all!!

Nice to hear from you Alex. Perhaps you could work on a few cars when you get back to Ohio. I also am heading home to California at that time. Everytime I see a chef on the food channel I think about you making desserts and salads. With the economy the way it is, don't be surprised about the raise. Be thankful you have a good job. Many in the US have lost nearly half of their net worth. That makes it hard for folks like me to eat out as we have to skimp somewhere. I still have my 03 Mountaineer for sale in part due to the economy.
hey dude hit me up when you are home i would love to see you and have you meet morgan i really think you will like him and who cares about a raise at lease you have money that you can spend my second pay check is going all to this car but my food job is me ut still thats not a lot of money easpilly when none of your clothes fit it sucks majorly well ttyl
Hi Alex, Glad to hear school is going so well for you. School is going well for me too. I sure could have used a good mechanic for Michelle's old car. It is not starting. We think it is the solenoid or the starter. We are trying to sell it as is-where is. If you were closer, you could have fixed it possibly or at least had another car in the driveway to work on.
Coleen
Coleen, if you dont sell it, I will replace the starter/solenoid so you can have an extra car, if the car runs, that helps resale value alot.
Alex, I am looking forward to spending time with you when you come home and yes I think you might enjoy working on the LHS.
its not the starter it the BATTERY DUH i bet anything that it is and we dont want an extra car we got two good ones plus we needed to get rid of that toyata thing anyways they are bad cars to start off with at least the older ones that dont work in the first place there is so many things wrong with that car its not even funny!
well we sold it so we dont have to worry about tha car now
Hopefully you got your moneys worth out of it. Let me know if there is any brake or suspension work you need done when I am home for winter.
