Don Walker update

Dad has kind of been through the mill lately. He has wax buildup in his ears which we have been unable to dislodge which makes his hearing worse. Then he developed shingles. It broke out on his abdomen and back. Then the family doctor made a housecall. He prescribed a cream for the shingles and some type of medicine for the viral infection involved. Well the medicine just really did a number on him. Really hard to describe. We wondered if he had another stroke. Well, after taking him off of the medicine, he slept a lot then more or less snapped out of it. The shingles are scabbing over. He is still very weak and somewhat discouraged to be dealing with even more problems. Not a good quality of life and mom is obviously stressed. I think he could have visitors again as long as it isn't too long.
