I've realized that as the Walker cousins reach new stages in life, there is a bigger need for more frequent communication. What I have decided to do, is try to offer a solution. I've come up with a way for us to have an online bulletin board. This will be a good way for you to either share family information, or to learn something about the concerns of the family. Previously, our family updates have been made by phone and email, but occasionally someone accidentally gets left out of the loop.

Good morning from Hilo Michelle. When I got out of high school I worked in the fields in California for the harvest season along with the Mexican migrants. Your job sounds a lot more pleasant. I was making $1.50 per hour 10 hours a day 7 days a week in the hot sun.
Michelle, congratulations. We knew you could do it! We hope you enjoy your work at Hallmark. I know Grandma Pat will visit you there often.
Michelle,
I always knew you were a Hallmark girl. I'll make an effort to stop and buy from you.
Michelle, since you got this second job and now working two jobs, I thought it would be a good idea to help you spend some of that hard earned money. So I put a deposit on a nice car for you. It is white on the outside and blue inside. You can take delivery on it in a couple of days as soon as you can arrange for the money for it. Grandma and I took it for a ride this morning.
I will take your picture when you get it with all smiles and standing next to it. And you can post it to the blog.
