Thanks everyone, for your prayers and concerns.
Have you ever wondered about the power of prayer? Let me tell you some of the things that happened yesterday and today. Howard had dialysis yesterday morning it went on fine. In the afternoon he had his 4th scope on his stomach. The mass of blood that the 3rd one revealed was gone.
Howard was able to take food by mouth the first time in 10 days. This morning he was transferred to a regular room after a good breakfast. Once in his room he was ready for a good nap. About an hour later close to noon he woke up and could talk real good, smiled and joked with us and the nurses. Lunch came and I helped him a little, but he mostly fed himself, and ate all the food on his tray. The change was so dramatic that only the power of God through your prayers made it happen.
It was the four of us who witnessed this. Chris, Pat, Tom and me. What a change!
The afternoon was filled with hospital activates with hospital people. He got up and sat on the edge of the bed to eat. Stood up next to his bed. He rolled over in bed. The day before yesterday he couldn't even hold his head up. You talk about change!! It happened today. Thank you God.

I do know the power of prayer too. When I was really sick back in 2002, I had people tell me to get my will in order and genuinely be negative in thought. I never could handle listening to that kind of talk and I realize God uses people like you to give people like Howard a showing of optimism. Yes, God works in mysterious ways.
