OK, so here we are in Europe. This week we are in Switzerland near Zurich at a B&B. Next week we will be south of Munich at a condo. So I wrote to cousin Paul to ask where we should visit and he gave us several choices. One was to go to Interlochen and the other was to go to a Baroque library in St. Gallen. Well, we figured if the library was broke, and in a foreign language, there was no point in visiting it. So we picked Interlochen. I can still hear Iris talking about how beautiful it is. Well, we were not disappointed!! The temperature today was a high of 70 and we had a gorgeous drive. You see, the trees are turning and we got ourselves on a curvy mountain road with wonderful vistas of the surrounding area in the alps. The alps don't look like mountains in the US.
Cousin Elaine arrives in the morning. She will be amazed by our surroundings. If we listen closely we can hear the cow bells ring. We plan to see Zurich on Wed and then the black forest on Thursday. And we are being served raclette on Thursday evening.
We have an Opel Insignia with a diesel engine and a 6 speed manual transmission. We tried not to get passed and at one point we hit about 180 on the autobahn. We have a condo south of Munich next week followed by a cruise to Greece and Turkey the following week. Due to a price decrease, we got an upgrade to a balcony cabin and we have a 100 cabin credit.
Princess and Kay are doing fine back at the house holding down the fort.
So, how is that for spicing up the blog??
Tom
I've realized that as the Walker cousins reach new stages in life, there is a bigger need for more frequent communication. What I have decided to do, is try to offer a solution. I've come up with a way for us to have an online bulletin board. This will be a good way for you to either share family information, or to learn something about the concerns of the family. Previously, our family updates have been made by phone and email, but occasionally someone accidentally gets left out of the loop.

Some time in the shop today
I spent some time in the shop today and was listening to the radio. The programing changed to something I don't usually listen to. This is the result, a Pentel pencil conversion using Red Heart. Maybe I will find someone on Etsy that likes it.

Walker Clan
Wow, It's been over 3 months since the last post was made and I'm just wondering if it's time to retire this site. It's been a good thing but I think it's been outdated by Face Book. Opinions?

You can vote for Bromley and Misko in the crazy sunglasses contest on Floppy Bear's cute Facebook page by clicking "Like" in each of their posts. https://www.facebook.com/floppy.bear.8?fref=ts
You can enter your own dog's pictures too! Don't have to be Samoyeds. Floppy Bear's Mom & Dad just want to have some fun. Last week it was a sock contest.
Also, if you go to my Facebook page, you can see the fun Misko had last week playing in my fountain.
Have a great day!
Here's a sneak peek of their entries.
